Valle Marks End Of School Year With Graduation Ceremonies In Desert

Valle Catholic Schools recently celebrated student promotions for students completing pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and eighth grade.
In order to comply with social distancing guidelines, these events took place on the Valle Catholic Desert. Students remained near their vehicles, while families supported their achievements from inside the car. Social media was used to share a livestream with family members and friends.
The events began with a blessing from Rev. Edward Nemeth, president of Valle Catholic.
Valle Catholic promoted 26 students from eighth grade to high school. Eighth-grade homeroom teachers were Jennifer Linderer and Elizabeth Bertrand. Also present were Jan Weiler, Michelle Basler and Tyler Search, who taught the eighth-grade students in Old Valle; and Valle Catholic Grade School principal Amanda Overmann.
Valle Catholic kindergarten promoted 25 students to first grade, led by teachers Amy Wood and Julie Holland.
The early childhood students celebrated with a “Night on the Red Carpet,” and 27 students will attend kindergarten in the 2020-21 school year. Amy Drury, Connie Hermann,  Julie Herzog and Jennifer Burr are the early childhood instructors at Valle Catholic.
