Ste. Genevieve Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Accident On I-55

A Ste. Genevieve man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 55 last week, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 3:50 p.m. on April 28.
Nicolas S. Hager, 35, was driving a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country mini-van northbound on I-55 near mile marker 144.4 when the vehicle traveled off the east side of the road, struck a tree and caught fire.
Hager was taken by Air Evac Medical Service to Barnes Jewish Hospital.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
