SGCMH Friends Foundation Shows Support for Local Front-Line Heroes

The Friends Foundation of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) gave back during the COVID-19 pandemic to those who have supported the foundation and the community.
“It is our turn to show support for our community partners in every way we can,” said Holli Ledbetter, SGCMH Friends Foundation director.
On April 22, the Friends Foundation fed several front-line workers across the county. The meals were delivered to several front-line businesses, including the Ste. Genevieve County Health Department, Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office, Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District, Ste. Genevieve Police Department and the staff of SGCMH.
“Our appreciation goes beyond words,” said Sandra Bell, administrator of the Ste. Genevieve County Health Department. “The support goes a long way and it is dear to our hearts.”
In treating the front-line workers, the Friends Foundation supported local restaurants by ordering the food from vendors who participated in the annual Taste of Ste. Genevieve.
“This is a time where we need to come together as a community and help everyone who is being affected by this pandemic,” Ledbetter said. “I know myself and the Friends Foundation board were happy to help.”
