Bloomsdale Man Injured In Jefferson County Accident

A Bloomsdale man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Jefferson County last week, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 8:25 a.m. on April 27.
Zachary Clayton, 29, of Bloomsdale, was driving a 2012 Honda Civic southbound on Old Lemay Ferry Road at Black Oak Drive when his vehicle crossed the center line.
The front of the Honda Civic struck the left side of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 being driven northbound by Terry L. Klamert, a 67-year-old man from Imperial.
Clayton was transported to Mercy Hospital South by Rock Township Ambulance District.
Klamert did not suffer any injuries, according to the report.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Clayton was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on the same day on a patrol charge of DWI.
