Farmers Market Delays Start Of Season Until Early June

The Ste. Genevieve Farmers Market has set a tentative opening date of Saturday, June 6, according to a post on its social media page.
The market traditionally is open on Saturdays from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in October.
Organizers cited the coronavirus for the delay in opening, calling it “the best decision for the safety of members and customers at this time.”
Some vendors may be selling products independently.
As a food supplier, farmers markets are considered essential and exempt from Missouri’s stay at home order.
