Josephine Estelle Moore

Josephine Estelle Moore of Ste. Genevieve County, and formerly of Festus, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Riverview at the Park Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ste. Genevieve. She was 80 years old.
She was born August 17, 1939, in Festus, a daughter of the late Pauline (Chotrow) and Albert Petty.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard Moore; two daughters, Cindy Bourne and her husband James of Ste. Genevieve, Sherri Lednick and her husband John of Ohio; one sister, Mary Ann England of Texas; one brother, Bill Petty of Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Emily Petty of Maine; five grandchildren, Amos Bourne and his wife Jennifer, Caleb Bourne and his wife Kendall, Miranda Bourne, Samantha Lednick, Kristin Starkey and her husband Colton; and three great-grandchildren, Noah Bourne, Kinsley Bourne, Andrew Starkey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Kirk and her husband David; and one brother, John Petty.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Festus, where she was very active with the Shoebox Ministries, and other church programs. She was a member of the Bloomsdale Garden Club. She was a devote Christian and loved the Lord all her life.
Private family services took place. Vinyard Funeral Homes in Festus handled the arrangements.
