Bonnie L. Ruengert
Bonnie L. Ruengert of De Soto died on March 10, 2020, at Scenic Nursing and Rehab Center in Herculaneum. She was 73 years old.
She was born on January 6, 1947, in St Louis, a daughter of the late Harold J. Binder and Mildred J. (Daley) Binder.
She is survived by two sons John Ruengert and his wife Heather of De Soto, Bryan Ruengert and his wife Jeanie of De Soto; one daughter, Barb Jackson and her husband A.J. of Ste. Genevieve; three grandchildren, Riley Hughes of Ste Genevieve, Kylie Ruengert of De Soto, Wyatt Ruengert of De Soto; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ruengert; and two sisters, Betty Jo Binder and Margie Binder.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of De Soto. She enjoyed spending time at the CIA Hall and the De Soto Senior Center. She also liked listening to music and dancing. She was known for her contagious laugh and warm smile.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
Funeral services were Friday, March 20, at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks at a later date. Mahn Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
