Foundation For Restoration Can Provide Speakers For Several Topics

The Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Geneiveve’s speakers bureau has people prepared to give presentations on more than 45 topics including Ste. Genevieve personalities, culture and traditions, architecture, the Civil War, and the general history of the area.

Speakers include members from the Foundation as well as the Felix Valle House State Historic Site and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Those three organizations sponsor the bureau. Local historians Bob Mueller, Becky Millinger and Jim Baker are among the presenters available along with Felix Valle House State Historic Site administrator Donna Rausch  and Civil War history buffs Gary Scheel and Tom Greminger.

Presentations are given free of charge to not-for-profit organizations within 30 miles of Ste. Genevieve or for minimal transportation fees outside the 30-mile level.

For more information, visit the website for the Speakers Bureau Catalog at historicstegen.org, send an email to ffrsg@att.net or contact the Foundation for Restoration at 573-883-9622.
