Candidates Forums Moved Back To Fourth Week Of This Month
Since preparations for the recent sale of the Ste. Genevieve Herald took some time on the part of our staff, scheduling the candidates forums for the April 7 Municipal Election was delayed a bit from the normal schedule.
Candidates are being invited to two candidates forums — one on Tuesday, March 24, in the city of St. Mary for the five candidates there; and one on Wednesday, March 25, at Ste. Genevieve City Hall.
Both forums will begin at 6 p,m.
The forum in St. Mary at the CMA Hall will be a roundtable format with the five candidates — mayoral hopefuls Gloria Bader, Paul Franklin and Carl Wyatt and Ward 1 aldermanic candidates Clyde Cassoutt and Adam Bequette — all discussing issues during the one-hour session.
The forum on March 25 in Ste. Genevieve will include the three candidates for Ward 1 alderman in that city along with the four candidates for three seats on the Ste. Genevieve R-II Board of Education and three candidates for the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital board.
