Group Home Residents, Staff Pay Tribute To Board Of Directors
Staff and residents of Ste. Genevieve Group Home recently honored its board of directors.
“The Board of Directors volunteers hours monthly by attending meetings to oversee the management of the homes,” said Group Home administrator Sharon Werner. “As a county entity, we feel the public should have knowledge of the wonderful job our Board of Directors does.”
Erin Brown, PM/RMA, added: “The board also holds special parties each year for our residents. The residents look forward to these events year after year, especially the annual Christmas party. Members of the Board of Directors personally shop every year for each individual resident. The board holds a special dinner, with Santa Claus in attendance and live music. This is a definite highlight for them.”
Board members include: president Linda Kertz, vice president Sandy Naeger, secretary Betty Arnold, treasurer Ray Ziegler, Joann Basler, Sandy Stewart, Bill Tlapek, Cindy Koetting and Kristi Kleghorn.
“You all have enriched our residents’ lives,” Werner said. “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
