Lloyd Glen Brewster

Lloyd Glen Brewster of St. Mary died on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was 82 years old.

He was born May 22, 1937, in Eminence, Missouri, a son of Lloyd Winfred Brewster and Ethel Irene (Black) Brewster.

He was married to RoseMary (Worley) Brewster on June 1, 1956, and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son, Lloyd “Bruce” E. Brewster of St. Mary; two daughters, Suellen K. Lankford of St. Mary, Julie Ruth Passanise and her husband David of St. Louis; special friend Juda Worley of Benton, Missouri; three brothers, Tom Brewster and his wife Dana of Lincoln, Illinois, Joe Brewster and his wife Mary of St. Mary, Jim Brewster and his wife Donna of St. Mary; two sisters, Louise Otte of St. Mary, Kathy Dallas of Imperial; six grandchildren, Chad Lankford, Christina Brewster, Joshua Brewster, Sarah Payne, Jonathon Passanise, Gabriel Passanise; and eight great-grandchildren, Brodie Payne, Jamen Lankford, Trey Payne, Cooper Lankford, Saylor Blechle, Kenzie Payne, Rollinz Blechle, Kai Blechle.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Sue Brewster; two sisters, Grace Grass, Wanda Brewster; and two brothers, Lawrence Brewster, Everett Brewster.

He was a deacon and longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church in St. Mary, and he was a member of the Masons.

Funeral services were Sunday, January 19, at Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Irvin Brooks officiated. Basler Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
