Ste. Genevieve High School (SGHS) junior Ellie Naeger was named as the 2019 Patched Overalls Experience scholarship recipient.
Naeger will be attending Summer of Arts, a four-week pre-college program at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, California.
This program is offered to youth seeking to strengthen and enhance their art and design skills. Drawing studio and specialization courses are offered five days a week. Naeger will be working with practicing professionals to create original art, and she will earn three college credits upon completion of the program.
Naeger and her family met with Tyson Schaffner, Patched Overalls founder, along with Aaron Stacy, the student who was last year’s scholarship recipient, and his father, to talk about Stacy’s experience with the program.
