John D. Williams III
John D. Williams III of Crystal City died on Friday, December 6, 2019 at his home. He was 63 years old.
He was born November 13, 1956 in St. Louis.
He is survived by his parents, Jacqueline D. (Gehrs) and John D. Williams II of Oakville; one daughter, Molly Rose Williams of Festus; one sister, Deborah M. Gorman and her husband Kevin of Oakville; two brothers, Mark S. Williams and his wife Helen of Bloomsdale, Jeffrey A. Williams and his wife Hiliary of Farmington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was retired from Mississippi Lime Company in Ste. Genevieve after 29 years as a truck driver in the lime mines. He is best-remembered as a musician and longtime drummer for several area bands.
Funeral services were Monday, December 9, at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Deacon Phillip Warren officiated. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Vinyard Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
