SGHS FCCLA Organizes Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Ste. Genevieve High School chapter of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) sponsored a Thanksgiving dinner kit food drive from November 5 through November 19. The fifth-hour classes at Ste. Genevieve High School competed to see which class could generate the most donations toward Thanksgiving dinner kits. Robin Reynolds, of LIFE, Inc., coordinates the organization and delivery of the kits. At the conclusion of the event, more than 46 Thanksgiving dinner kits were collected. Bre Uzzell’s fifth-hour class was the winner of the competition, and the students will enjoy a pizza party for their efforts.
