Three Injured In Crash On Route WW
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route WW south of Saline Creek Road in Ste. Genevieve County on Saturday, November 2, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 3:17 p.m.
Harold D. Bloodworth, 59, of Ste. Genevieve was driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Route WW when he lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, crossed the center line and struck a 2010 Nissan Armada head on. The Nissan was being driven by Eric K. Schaper, 48, of Farmington.
Bloodworth suffered serious injuries and was taken to Parkland Health Center South in Farmington by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
Eric Schaper suffered moderate injuries, and a passenger in the vehicle, Amy N. Schaper, 43, of Farmington suffered minor injuries.
Both Eric Schaper and Amy Schaper were taken to Parkland Health Center South in Farmington by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.
Both Schapers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
Bloodworth was arrested later that afternoon on patrol charges of driving while intoxicated (physical injury) and driving while revoked.
