Annual Electronics Recycling Day Draws Another Large Turnout

The 10th annual Ste. Genevieve County Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Day this past Saturday attracted a record 444 vehicles to the Ste. Genevieve Recycling Center.

The event is sponsored by Holcim (U.S.), Inc., which reported collection of more than 500 appliances, 9,000 pounds of paint, one ton of aerosols, two tons of pesticides, two tons of flammable liquids and 3 1/2 tons of flammable paint.
