Valle Students Participate In Conservation Field Day

Valle Catholic students in third, fourth and fifth grades attended the 2019 Conservation Field Day at Mississippi Lime Kiln Park on October 9. Programs this year included Forestry, Where Does Lime Come From, Reptiles of Missouri, Bug Bingo, Stream Table, Livestock Matching Game, Invasive Species, and Horses. Each student was given a packet of information along with a ruler, pencil, and coloring books, courtesy of the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Ste. Genevieve Soil and Water Conservation District, Farm Service Agency, University of Missouri Extension Service and Natural Resources Conservation Service.
