French Village Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Single-Vehicle Accident In St. Francois County
A French Village man suffered serious injuries on September 29 in a single-vehicle accident in St. Francois County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 10:43 p.m. on Pawnee Drive east of Roy Drive.
Charles L. Lake, 55, was driving a 2004 Arctic Cat 500 eastbound when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Lake was ejected.
He was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
The vehicle is exempt from safety devices.
