Wisconsin Man Injured After Motorcycle Hits Deer On I-55

A Wisconsin man suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County on September 23, according to a report on the Missouri State Highway Patrol website.

The accident took place around 7:25 p,m. near mile marker 158.6 in the northbound lanes.

Ralph H. Britton, 68, of Frederic, Wisconsin, was driving a 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide northbound when the vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Britton was ejected.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.

He was wearing a safety device, according to the report.
