Two Crashes Reported Last Week On Route C
Two crashes took place on the morning of Friday, August 23, on Route C in Ste. Genevieve County, resulting in minor injuries for three people, according to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Both accidents took place near Saw Mill Road.
The first occurred around 8:15 a.m. south of Saw Mill Road.
Tara E. Chambers, 34, of Bonne Terre, was driving a 2003 Ford Focus southbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Chambers and a 5-year-old male passenger both were taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.
They were wearing safety devices, according to the report.
At 10:35 a.m., Emerson R. Kennedy, 20, of Bonne Terre, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound just west of Saw Mill Road when the vehicle crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side and struck an embankment.
Kennedy was taken by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
She was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
