SGCMH Staff Members Grass, McCullough Retire

After more than 40 years combined service to the community, Sharon Grass, RN, CS, FNP, and Mary Ann McCullough, MSN, ANP-BC, two of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital’s long-time nurse practitioners, announced their retirements, effective this summer.

Grass has been practicing at the hospital since 1973, specializing in adult primary care, diabetes education and family medicine.

McCullough has been practicing at Ste, Genevieve County Memorial Hospital since 1999, and also specialized in adult medicine and diabetes education.

The hospital recently hosted a retirement celebration for both providers.

Tom Keim, CEO of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, said it was a bittersweet occasion, in that retirement is something you work for all your life, but their presence at the hospital clinics will be sorely missed by their patients and hospital colleagues.

Grass and McCullough will not be easily replaced, but the hospital has more than 100 providers ready to help. A visit to stegenevievehospital.org/findadoc or a call to the referral line at 573-883-7777 might be helpful in a search for a medical provider.
