St. Agnes Parish Marks Start Of School Year With Mass

St. Agnes Parish in Bloomsdale celebrated the start of a new school year with a Backpack Blessing Mass on August 11. Students from St. Agnes School and Parish School of Religion were invited to bring their backpacks to Mass to be blessed by Rev. Michael Benz, pastor of St. Agnes Parish. Students and parents were then invited over to the school for open house, where they were able to meet with the teachers and drop off their supplies.
