Ferry Re-Opens After River Recedes

Ron Inman, chairman of the New Bourbon Regional Port Authority, used a backhoe to remove some of the mud at the parking area near the Little Rock Landing at the Mississippi River last week.

The access road to the ferry was cleared of about two feet of mud and silt last week, and Inman reported Monday that the Ste. Geneveive-Modoc Ferry was be back in operation.
