Heavenly Hair’s Plans To Relocate Earn Initial Approval From Planning And Zoning Commission

Jason Stackle and Ashley Crowley-Stackle ran into no obstacles last Thursday with the Ste. Genevieve Planning and Zoning Commission during the presentation of their plan to move Heavenly Hair and Boutique to 996 Market St.

After a few questions were asked of the Stackles, the commission voted 5-0 — with three members absent — to recommend approval of a special use permit.

A public hearing will take place during the Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen meeting on Thursday, August 22.

Crowley-Stackle explained that they wish to move the hair salon from its current location at 291 Merchant St., where they rent, to the Market Street property, which they just purchased.

The new location is in an R-2 General Residential Zone District. The two-story house, built in 1929, was most recently a rental house.

Crowley-Stackle has had her business on Merchant Street for about three years.
