Two Suffer Minor Injuries In July 20 Crash On Route WW

Two people suffered minor injuries on Saturday as the result of a two-car crash on Route WW in Ste. Genevieve County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place around 11:40 p.m., and the location was south of Bridge X0958.

Mark K. Stout, 25, of Pearland, Texas, was driving a 1992 Mazda Miata southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and travelled across the center of the roadway.

His vehicle struck a 2004 Ford E-450 being driven northbound by Amie R. Henson, 38, of Bonne Terre.

Both drivers were transported by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District to Parkland Health Center.

Henson was wearing a seat belt, according to the report, while Stout was not.

Stout also was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

— A Cadet, Missouri, man on a motorcycle was injured in a two-vehicle crash on July 13 on northbound Interstate 55 interchange with Highway 32, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 3:13 p.m.

Darrell L. Dunivan of Cadet, who was driving a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was stopped for a stop sign when his vehicle was struck by a 2007 Ford Freestyle driven by Thomas H. Mills, 85, of Park Hills.

Dunivan was taken by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Both Dunivan and Mills were wearing safety devices, according to the report.
