Palmer Earns Doctor of Optometry From Southern College Of Optometry

Katelyn Palmer, O.D., of Ste. Genevieve was among 130 students recently awarded the doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Palmer graduated cum laude and Beta Sigma Kappa, a designation for students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement.

A native of Ste. Genevieve, Palmer is the daughter of Cheryl and Mike Palmer and the  granddaughter of Rose and Irv Palmer and Mary and Jack Robinson.

Optometrists are independent, primary health care providers who specialize in the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases/disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures, as well as the diagnosis of related systemic conditions.
