Local Woman Injured When Car Is Struck By Teen Driver
A Ste. Genevieve woman suffered minor injuries when her vehicle was struck on Highway 61 at Bahr Road, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 9:42 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26.
Angela E. Lewis, 36, of Ste. Genevieve, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Tracker northbound when the rear of her vehicle was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet Impala being driven by a 17-year-old male from Bloomsdale.
Lewis was taken by private conveyance to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
She was wearing a seat belt, as was the teen driver of the Impala, according to the report.
