Farmers Market Takes One-Week Break, Resumes June 15

The Ste. Genevieve Farmers Market will be taking a break this weekend for the Spring for Down Syndrome event.

But the market will resume Saturday, June 15, with its normal 7 a.m. to noon at the Ste. Genevieve Knights of Columbus pavilion.

Produce selections will increase this month as the weather gets warmer and possibly dryer.

If the bees are willing, there could be some local honey at the market this month.

As always, the market has a variety of home-canned goods, baked goods, vegetables, eggs, and sometimes some fruit.
