Valle Senior Blum Receives Miriam Steiger Scholarship

Kellen Blum, left, of Valle Catholic High School’s Class of 2019 recently was awarded the Miriam S. Steiger Nursing and Healthcare Scholarship. Presenting the scholarship was Robert Steiger, husband of the late Miriam Steiger. Robert Steiger and his children set up the scholarship to honor his late wife, who had a lifetime career in nursing, and to help Valle graduates.
