Demolition Continues At Community Services Building
The demolition process continued last week at the old County Services Building, 255 Market St. The decorative rock on the Market Street side of the building was said to have been placed there by the county 4-H club in the late 1970s. The building was built in the 1950s as a Ford dealership and in recent years served as home to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Chamber of Commerce and University of Missouri Extension. The area will be used for public parking. (Photo by TOBY CARRIG/Herald staff)
