Ste. Genevieve Elementary School Library Purchases New Books With Donations From Webbs

Robert and Peggy Webb have made generous donations to the Ste. Genevieve Elementary School library over the past few years to fund the purchase of new books for the students.

The students were excited to receive a new Junie B. Jones set, along with additions to the various series the library already owns, including sets by award winners, award nominees, and graphic novels.

The Ste. Genevieve Elementary School library was named in 2011 in honor of  Bobby G. Webb, who  served the Ste. Genevieve R-II School District for 40 years, as a teacher, a principal at both elementary schools and a member of the Board of Education.

“Mr. and Mrs. Webb are a legacy for our district, and we truly appreciate their kindness and generosity,” Ste. Genevieve Elementary School principal Geri Diesel said. “Their contributions enable us to purchase book sets our students so enjoy.”
