Viola C. Jaegers
Viola C. Jaegers of Bloomsdale died on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve. She was 85 years old.
She was born August 21, 1933 in Koeltztown, Missouri, a daughter of William Lock and Elizabeth (Bax) Lock.
She was married to Jerome C. Jaegers on August 21, 1954, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by four daughters, Deborah Payne and her husband Tony of Bellview, Missouri, Brenda Stuppy and her husband Donnie of Ste. Genevieve, Gail Wehner and her husband Wayne of Bloomsdale, Myra Kuehn and her husband Don of Ste. Genevieve; one son, Gregory Jaegers and his wife Vickie of Ste. Genevieve; 14 grandchildren, Erica Cowsert and her fiance Ben, Anthony Payne and his wife Stephanie, Andrea Wilkinson and her husband Kenny, Jacob Payne, Julie Benard and her husband Dan, Brett Stuppy and his wife Samantha, Kim Brewster and her husband Ben, Kylie Brueggemann and her husband Patrick, Kevin Wehner and his wife Ashley, Kurt Wehner, Clayton Kuehn and his wife Amanda, Brandon Kuehn and his wife Casey, Randi Kuehn and special friend Eric, Hannah Kiehl and her husband Mason; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Olivia Webb; two brothers, Herbert Lock, Cornelius Lock; and one great-grandchild, Henry Wehner.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook and bake for everyone.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. Rev. Michael Benz and Deacon Jim Basler were to officiate. Burial was to be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Basler Funeral Home of Ste. Genevieve handled the arrangements.
