A Ste. Genevieve woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on April 7 in Jefferson County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 11:42 a.m. at north of mile marker 179.6 on Interstate 55.
Amanda K. Wooldridge, 42, of Ste. Genevieve, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu northbound on I-55 when the accident took place.
Her vehicle was stopped in congested traffic in the left lane when the front of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler being driven by Beth R. Hammond, 37, of Crystal City, struck the rear of the Malibu.
Wooldridge was transported to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by private conveyance.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
