Ste. Genevieve Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Crash In St. Francois County

A Ste. Genevieve County man suffered serious injuries on March 19 in a two-car crash on Highway 67 in St. Francois County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place around 5:15 p.m. at Shannon Road.

Daniel Evans, 44, of Ste. Genevieve County was driving a 2018 Toyota Corolla and attempting to cross the southbound lanes of Highway 67 but failed to yield to a 2016 Kia Soul being driven by Joshua A. Henderson, 35, of Pevely. The front of Henderson’s vehicle struck the front left of Evans’ car.

Evans was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by the Ste. Francois County Ambulance District.

Henderson, who suffered minor injuries, refused treatment and transport.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
