St. Louis Man Suffers Moderate Injuries In Crash On Route Y

An 83-year-old St. Louis man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash on February 26 on Route Y in Ste. Genevieve County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place around 1 p.m.

Joseph L. Marino was driving a 1995 GMC 1500 westbound on Route Y at Dogwood Drive when the accident took place.

The vehicle travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign. The vehicle returned to the roadway and went of the left side and struck a tree.

Marino was taken to Mercy Hospital South by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.

He was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
