Vernon E. Heck

Vernon E. Heck of Perryville died on January 22, 2019. He was 80 years old.

He was born March 9, 1938, in River aux Vases, a son of John Heck and Anna Marie (Schmieder) Heck.

He was married to Mary Jane (Scherer) Heck, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey E. Heck of Perryville and Gregory A. Heck of Chicago; nieces; nephews; cousins; colleages; and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Lavern Basler, Leona Grahm, Anna Heck, Vernetta “Netzy” Heck; two brothers, Harvey Heck, John Heck Jr.

He was a certified public accountant. He was a member of the National Guard, a Mason, a Shriner. He was a member of the Air Patrol, Eagles, VFW and American Legion.

Private services were hold. Wood Family Funeral Home of Ste. Genevieve handled the arrangements.
