Boy Scouts In Troop 150 Earn Religious Award

Six Boy Scouts from Troop 150 received the Ad Altare Dei “To the Altar of God” award on February 3 at the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis. The program which they completed is designed to help the Scouts develop a whole Christian life in their parish and community. Various religious leaders in the Catholic community took part in leading nine sessions which covered the seven Sacraments and how to foster a robust spiritual life. The award was conferred by St. Louis Auxiliary Bishop Mark S. Rivituso. Scouts pictured, from left: Peter Roth, Thomas Pecaut, Justin Schwent, Truman Tucker, Paul Ahrens.
