Schweiss Earns Do The Right Thing Award

Caden Schweiss, a fourth-grade student at St. Agnes School in Bloomsdale, was the recipient of the KMOV (Channel 4) Do The Right Thing Award on January 16.

He was one of 13 award recipients recognized at a ceremony sponsored by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Schweiss was nominated for this award by St. Agnes teacher and mission moderator Marcia Meyer. Schweiss raised $85 selling pumpkins that he planted and raised himself and donated the money to the Missionary Childhood Association, which works toward raising money to help poor children around the world.

He is the son of Kyle and Nicky Schweiss.
