French Village Man Injured In Crash On Interstate 44
A French Village man suffered serious injuries on January 6 in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 44 in Crawford County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
James W. Looman, 40, of French Village, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tracker westbound at mile marker 210.8 at around 5:40 p.m. when the accident took place.
The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, crossed over the ramp and overturned.
The vehicle came to rest on its side, and Looman was ejected from the vehicle.
He was flown by Arch Air Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
