Valle Football

C.J. Stoll found running room for Valle last Friday against Grandview.

Valle used Week 5 to get some players healthy, get some younger players in the game and dominate its foe all in one go.

Chase Fallert threw for five touchdowns, the Warriors allowed just three first downs, and Valle routed Grandview 55-18 in I-55 conference action.

“We played pretty well,” said Valle coach Judd Naeger. “We had some guys in some new spots due to some minor injuries, but it was good to see that we were able to get some new guys in there, and I think they performed well.”

It took a few minutes for Valle to get on the scoreboard, but after it first got on the board the Warriors added two more tallies over the next four minutes. Fallert hit Austin Burnett for a 26-yard strike and Aiden Heberlie for a 28-yard score, and C.J. Stoll broke off a 68-yard run sandwiched between those two passing touchdowns. Kolten Naeger kicked the first two point-after tries for a 20-0 lead.
