Isaac Boyd will play one more football game before he takes his talents to McKendree University.
The standout lineman for Ste. Genevieve’s football team has been selected to play on the Blue team for the Lions All-Star Football Game at UCM Walton Stadium’s Kennedy Field in Warrensburg on Saturday, July 20. The game will feature some of the top graduated high school football players in Missouri.
According to a press release the game was created in order to benefit the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation. The event has raised over $200,000 for the Lions project in Missouri, and it now supports Missouri Lions KidSight.
A banquet will take place on Friday, July 19 to honor the players, and pre-game festivities will be held the next day at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at the gate on game day for $10 for adults and $5 for students.
