Advertising Cancellation
Should the advertiser elect to cancel a confirmed advertisement after the cancellation deadline on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. there will be a 20% penalty assessed as a result of page reformatting.
Acceptance
All
advertising is accepted subject to approval by the publisher. Advertising
must be in good taste as to subject matter and wording and may be
refused when considered in bad taste, offensive or detrimental to
the public, the newspaper or another advertiser. The advertiser
assumes responsibility for validity and accuracy of advertising
copy. The publisher reserves the right to refuse or cancel any advertisement
at any time.
Omissions
and Errors
The
publisher assumes no financial responsibilities for typographical
errors, but if at fault will reprint that portion of an advertisement
in which such error has occurred. No allowance will be made for
errors that do not materially affect the value of the advertisement.
Errors must be reported immediately after the first week ad is published.
The publisher will not be responsible for errors not brought to
our attention immediately.
Position
Placement
of ads in the newspaper is at the option of the publisher. Position
cannot be guaranteed, although we will make an effort to honor reasonable
requests whenever possible. If advertiser demands a particular page
or position, a $50.00 per ad handling fee will be charged. No ads
will appear on the front page of any section.
Payment
Accounts
for advertising used each month are due and payable on or before
the tenth (10th) day of the following month.
General
Information
Political
advertising and transient advertising must be paid in advance. Credit
must be established to the satisfaction of the publisher and may
be withdrawn at any time. Advertising rates subject to change. All
rates are as published herewith and no other local display rates
or discounts are available.
Copy
Received by Fax
Ad
copy received by fax will not reproduce well. The publisher will
not be responsible for poor quality reproduction when requested
to treat faxed material as camera-ready.
