Sabreliner Service LLC has hired just over 100 workers total to staff its manufacturing operations in Ste. Genevieve and Perryville, following its purchase last month of Sabreliner Corporation's assets, the subsequent termination of all of Sabreliner Corporation's employees and an accompanying work-stoppage.
Bob Stockard, chief executive officer and managing director of Innovative Capital Holdings (ICH), a global private investment firm based in Naples, Florida, that focuses on the acquisition and management of distressed and insolvent companies, and has numerous subsidiaries including Sabreliner Service LLC, said today (Friday, February 7) that Sabreliner Service has no plans at the moment to hire any more employees.
"I think we have filled all the openings we had," he said.
Additional opportunities could arise in the future, however, Stockard said.
If the company is successful, "I expect we will be hiring some more workers," he said.
Company officials currently are focusing on trying to find a full-time chief executive officer for Sabreliner Service. Stockard said he expects to have one in place within the next four to six months.
