Marilyn
Elizabeth Colburn
Marilyn Elizabeth Colburn of Bloomsdale died Saturday, May 10, 2008
at St. Anthonys Hospital in St. Louis. She was 67 years old.
Visitation
for Mrs. Colburn is Tuesday, May 13, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mahn Twin
City Chapel in Festus. Funeral services are Wednesday, may 14, 11
a.m. at Mahn Twin City Chapel with Reverend Jim Owens officiating.
Burial is in Concord Cemetery in Ste. Bloomsdale. Mahn Twin City
Chapel is handling the arrangements.
She
was born August 28, 1940, in St. Louis, a daughter of Eugene and
Marian (Mathews) Saur.
She
was married to John Jegel and later married Bill Colburn and he
survives in Bloomsdale.
In
addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Jennifer
(Mrs. Dane) Briggs of Oklahoma, Julia (Mrs. James) Thompson of St.
Charles and Diane Jegel of St. Louis; three sons, Anthony Jegel
and his wife, Joni, of Fenton, Christopher Jegel and his wife, Micki,
of St. Louis and Mark Jegel and his wife, Tammy, of St. Charles;
a stepson, Mark Colburn; and three step-daughters, Jerri (Mrs. Terry)
Bequette, Missy (Mrs. Tom) Gray and Vicki (Mrs. Paul) Bouscher.
She also is survived by 19 grandcildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.
Mrs.
Colburn was a member of Second Baptist Church. She loved to travel,
collect and watch movies and knit. She also enjoyed spending time
with her family. She was a corporate trainer for bob Evans restaurants.
The
family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or
the American Cancer Society.
Robert
Carver
Robert Carver of Bloomsdale died Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Des Peres,
Missouri. He was 73 years old.
Visitation
for Mr. Carver is Tuesday, May 13, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler
Funeral Home. Funeral services are Wednesday, May 14, 10 a.m. at
St. Agnes Catholic Church in Bloomsdale. Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler
Funeral Home of Arnold is handling the arrangements.
He
was born November 13, 1934, in St. Louis, a son of George and Frances
(Pfahls) Carver.
He
was married to Betty (Drury) Carver and she survives in Bloomsdale.
In
addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Gina (Mrs.
Dennis) Luig of Arnold, Vita (Mrs. Johann) Sosa of Festus and Tina
(Mrs. David) Cash of Barnhart; a son, Bob Carver and his wife, Rachel,
of Fenton; three stepdaughters, Patricia Jones of St. Louis, Mary
(Mrs. Joe) Wolnik of Mission, Kansas and Anne (Mrs. Matt) Hanft
of Arnold; and two stepsons, Richard Cobb of St. Louis and Thomas
Cobb and his wife, Terrie, of San Ramon, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Mary
(Taormina) Carver.
Mr.
Carver served in the United States Army. He was an automotive car
salesman.
