Valentino and Renee Basile announce the birth of their son, Stefano Valentino, born at 8:49 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. He weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Kevin and Patti Gegg of Ste. Genevieve.

Paternal grandparents are Stefano and Marianne Basile of Caledonia and Vince Basile of Omaha, Nebraska.

Great-grandparents are Evelyn Krenning of Ste. Genevieve and Wilhelm and Hannelore Newmann of Tempe, Arizona.

Sophia Erynn Marqua

Melissa Marqua announces the birth of twins, Liam Russell and Sophia Erynn born at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Liam was born at 3 p.m. He weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. Sophia was born at 3:38 p.m. She weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces and was 17 3/4 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Tommy “Red” Sims and Sherie Marqua, both of Ste. Genevieve.

Great-grandparents are the late Ed and Joan Finley and the late Joyce Sims.

Brylee Ryanne Pollock

Ryan and Heather Pollock announce the birth of their daughter, Brylee Ryanne, born at 9:05 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce and was 21 inches long.

Brylee was welcomed home by her big sister, McKenna, 12 1/2 years old.

Maternal grandparents are Jeff Whaley of Ste. Genevieve and the late Theresa Whaley. Paternal grandparents are Dan and Kathie Pollock of Ironton, Missouri.

Great-grandparents are Nancy Kemper of Farmington and the late Derald Whaley, Gene and Dorothy Marler and Jack Pollock, all of Ironton, late Bernice Pollock, Lois Martin of Doe Run and the late Herbert Martin.

Livy Faye Greer

Jimmie and Jennifer Greet announce the birth of their daughter, Livy Faye, born at 1:02 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Livy was welcomed home by her big brother, Presley, six years old.

Maternal grandparents are John and Dee Levy of Ste. Genevieve.

Paternal grandparents are Ronnie and Sue Greer of Bloomsdale.
